Busy....

It's been a few weeks since my last post. We have been super busy. October is uaually a busy month. This year we had 4 weddings in three weeks. On the 15th, we had two 8 hour weddings and the day was LONG! Regardless they were both just beautiful. One was at the Dresser Mansion while the other was at McBirney Mansion. For those who know Tulsa, these are beautiful sites and both weddings will look great on our 2006 demo.

I've also been spending a little more time working on my Photography site. Jesse Reich | Photography has grown from a personal need to creat compelling images to go along with our video.

If you care to look at my portfolio you can visit www.JesseReich.com.

Talk to you later

Church Video

I'm excited because I have been retained by my church to provide regular productions to assist wtih worship. This is wonderful as I always enjoy the ability to use my talents to further the Word. I am a Christian and try to live my life accordingly. The world is full of temptations, but each and every day I able to make it through thanks to Christ who sees me through.

If your ever in Tulsa, be sure to stop by Southern Hills Baptist church as you never know when a new video production will be showing.

Good by Katrina, Hello Rita...

What the @%$&!

One down and another on the heels... Well Rita is here and I'm suppose to be on my way to Houston today. I guess that won't be happening. I was going to visit my father-in-law at MD Anderson for my son's first birthday. He has been evacuated into the hospital and my family in West Louisiana are moving North.

My parents who are in Germany should be flying in to Louisiana on Friday and are now flying in to Tulsa instead. Good news for me, but bad for them as they will have to still get home to LA when its safe.

I did find a cool site today for info on the weather. It's in place for the Red Cross. http://www.crownweather.com/tropical.html There are some really cool charts at the bottom of the page.

Let's hope Rita dies down before she hits land...

Been a while...

Wow it's been a while since my last post. FOUR entire months worth... I can't believe the time has passed so quickly. Well the editing desk has been busy at work. Take 5 Video has recently completed the second season of production for the Biff and Mason show, a local Tulsa production focusing on local flare. The third seson will begin taping in November and will air starting in February.

In addition, to a TV show, I have also added Photography to my service offering for the Tulsa area. I found many of the local photographers in Tulsa covering everything from Weddings to Senior portraits left much to be desired in their images. Feeling I could do a better job I jumped into the displine and began finding clients who agreed with me.

Our business has been officially up since August and running full speed. Now we not only have Weddings to edit but portrait sessions to get online. You can view our new site at www.JesseReich.com or www.jPhotographic.com.

On the family front, my father in law has been diagnose with cancer and is currently at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas undergoing treatments. This has been really hard on the family. My wife doesn't like being so far from her father, but we have been able to fly her down a few times to see everyone. Her brother, Daniel, gets to drive down once a month or so from Dallas. This helps pull everyone together.

In August I went to the WEVA, Wedding and Event Videographer Association, Expo in Las Vegas, NV. It was my second year to attend and I must say it left something to be desired. Many of the presenters just bored me. As the President of the Oklahoma Professional Videographers association, I felt I needed to attend to represent my state. I won't be doing this next year as it only costs me money.

Well that's quick look at what's happened. Take care

Whew... Talk about busy!!!

I can't believe it has been so long since my last post. I have been just swampped with work. We recently completed the edit and distribution of a Play, Senior PhotoMontage (200 Pics), Dance Recital PhotoMontage, church Worship video's and a Wedding. On top of it all, we now produce a weekly TV show on Tulsa's Fox 23. (The Biff & Mason Show)

Needless to say, daylight isn't something I see often. To top it all off, I'm still the president of the OKPVA and working to provide valuable meetings to our members.

Anyway, new updates will be coming soon. Sorry for the long delay!

Easter at Fellowship, WOW!

Well we spent Easter weekend in Dallas and was able to attend the 5:00PM service on Saturday at FC. All I can say is Wow!

This church is anything but traditional and from what Daniel says they had over 34,000 people attend their Easter services. Amazing! Now that's making an impact.

The one thing FC does to help relate to people is use Moving Images, Video, in all services. We're not talking you 60" screen either. We're talking Three HUGE rear projection screens, 7 HD camera with massive zoom lenses, a full HD production studio, 3 Avid's and 2 Discreet Flames. FC has a full time "Motion Graphics Artist" on staff along with a very impressive crew of Audio engineers.

These people know how to make an impact and they do a great job. Thanks to Daniel I was able to get a look at their control room, they have 2, and their recording studio. The control rooms have different purposes; one room controls the house while the other controls the live broadcast. Not to shabby in my book.

Most of their team are all volunteers however they do have a small but talented staff who pull it all together each week for a number of services in 4 different locations.

If you are ever in Dallas don't forget to stop and take a look at FellowshipChruch.com in Grapevine, TX.

"Dallas or Bust!"

The edit desk will be closed for a few days as we head down to Dallas for the Easter Holiday. While down there we'll be staying with Natalie's brother Daniel and spending some time with her parents.

I would say the most exciting thing will be attending Easter services at Fellowship Church.com. I've been a few times and must say it is amazing. I'll report back when we return!

Happy Easter!
